Doctatoc

Asked by Common patient question

When can I fly after cardiac surgery?

There is no single safe timeline for every patient. The treating cardiac team should assess recovery, complications, medicines, mobility, oxygen needs and flight duration before giving individual advice. Do not book return travel until that team confirms the plan.
