Cold climates speed up the progression of osteoarthritis- Knee Pain

While some types of weather may impact the symptoms of arthritis, cold temperatures are not known to either cause or exacerbate osteoarthritis. Some arthritis patients have reported stiffer joints in colder weather, and that could be related to the effect air and barometric pressure has on the body.
