Frigidity is broadly used to refer to a low libido (sex drive) in women. This term is often used incorrectly to describe a woman who is emotionally cold or does not respond to her partner’s sexual advances. The Medical definition of frigid is lacking sexual desire: abnormally averse to sexual intercourse with a male partner and unable to achieve orgasm during sexual intercourse. It could be a case of Hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) or Female sexual arousal disorder (FSAD).
