There are several different types of hemophilia. The following two are the most common: Hemophilia A (Classic Hemophilia) – This type is caused by a lack or decrease of clotting factor VIII and Hemophilia B (Christmas Disease) – This type is caused by a lack or decrease of clotting factor IX.
